Within this dynamic environment, the Carina Software division specializes in acquiring and growing vertical market software companies in the energy sector. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with both onshore and offshore teams to manage finance functions across various business units within the Carina portfolio. This role includes leading a team based in Karachi and ensuring that financial records, reports, and processes comply with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the Karachi office team responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and month-end close activities. You will prepare, reconcile, and monitor client invoices across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Manage bank account administration tasks such as reconciliations, payment runs, and cash flow oversight. Accurately record payroll transactions and cross-charges while handling sales tax returns and fulfilling corporate reporting requirements.

Oversee monthly revenue and expense accruals, prepare quarterly disclosures and reconciliations, and support budgeting and forecasting processes. Generate monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and various management reports to provide clear insights into financial performance.

Additionally, you will perform ad hoc financial tasks as required to support the evolving needs of the business.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 6 to 10 years of experience in finance roles, preferably with exposure to North American business operations. A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ICMA is essential.

Strong knowledge of multi-currency transactions and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities, are critical for success in this role.
