Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team at our DHA Phase 8, Lahore office. This full-time internship spans three months and offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, eager to learn, and passionate about building a career in human resources. The working hours are Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Intern will play a supportive role in multiple HR activities. Key duties include assisting in sourcing and screening candidates for various job openings, ensuring a smooth recruitment process. You will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, facilitating effective communication throughout the hiring cycle.
Supporting the onboarding and orientation processes for new employees is another critical responsibility. This involves helping new hires acclimate to the company culture and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately. Maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases will also be part of your daily tasks, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
You will assist in organizing employee engagement activities and HR events, contributing to a positive workplace environment. Additionally, you will handle routine administrative tasks and support HR documentation processes. Under supervision, you will learn to apply labor laws and HR policies, gaining foundational knowledge essential for a career in human resources.
Preparing reports and presentations as required by the HR team will help you develop your analytical and communication skills, providing insight into HR operations.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have completed or be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with candidates, employees, and team members.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities are required to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is necessary to support documentation and reporting duties.
A genuine eagerness to learn and grow within the HR field is crucial. The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly is mandatory, as this role involves access to personal and company data.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This internship is an in-person role based at our DHA Phase 8, Lahore location. The contract duration is three months, providing a structured learning environment to develop practical HR skills. The monthly stipend ranges from Rs25,000 to Rs30,000, offering financial support during the internship period.
