Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst with a minimum of four years in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business analysis, or financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data to drive informed business decisions. This is a full-time, onsite position located in the D.H.A. Phase 7 Phase 2 Commercial Area, Defence Housing Authority, Karachi. The role offers a competitive salary of up to Rs350,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data to deliver actionable insights that support strategic business decisions. You will develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and cost variance analyses to ensure accurate financial planning. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, including proficiency with pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formulas, to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively.
Maintaining data integrity across multiple systems is critical, which involves understanding and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. You will perform margin analysis, working capital assessments, and cost analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, as you will communicate financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Supporting financial reporting activities using ERP and reporting tools such as Intacct and Power BI is also part of the role, with experience in these platforms considered advantageous. A high level of attention to detail is required to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all financial data and reports.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A minimum of four years of relevant experience in FP&A, business analysis, or financial reporting is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced capabilities is required to handle complex data analysis tasks.
A solid understanding of key financial concepts—including margin analysis, working capital management, and cost analysis—is necessary. Familiarity with financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost variance analysis is expected. Knowledge of ETL processes and managing data across multiple systems is important to maintain data accuracy.
Strong communication and presentation skills are required to effectively convey financial information to diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to data accuracy. Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams is essential.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
