IT Project Manager (Onsite)

Job Summary
We are looking for a committed IT Project Manager to lead and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects from initiation through deployment. The ideal candidate will take ownership of defining project scope, managing timelines, coordinating resources, and fostering collaboration across multiple teams. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage risks and changes to achieve project objectives. This is a full-time, onsite position based in [City], with occasional travel as required.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee IT projects from start to finish, ensuring they align with business goals. You will define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource needs to develop clear and actionable project plans. Leading daily onsite project team meetings is essential, promoting cross-functional collaboration among developers, QA, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders.

You will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and managing project risks, issues, and changes to maintain momentum and deliver successful outcomes. Tracking project milestones and deliverables using project management tools will help ensure timely progress. Maintaining compliance with quality standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle is critical.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Candidates should have 3 to 7 years of project management experience within IT environments, with a proven track record of delivering IT infrastructure, software development, or system integration projects.

A strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies are essential. Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms is expected.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are necessary to effectively manage teams and stakeholder expectations. The ability to work full-time onsite at our [City] location is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
