Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Genset Technicians to manage the operation and maintenance of MTU diesel generator sets ranging from 1250 KVA to 2200 KVA at our client’s site. The ideal candidates will possess hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, servicing, and operating high-capacity diesel generators. Your primary goal will be to ensure these gensets operate efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing reliability to meet the client’s power needs.

Key Responsibilities
As a Genset Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and servicing of MTU diesel generator sets to ensure optimal performance. You will diagnose and resolve both mechanical and electrical faults promptly, preventing prolonged outages. Maintaining the gensets in a state of readiness is critical, so you will ensure they are always operational and prepared for immediate use.

Accurate record-keeping is essential; you will maintain detailed service logs and prepare daily operational reports to document maintenance activities and any issues encountered. Collaboration is also a key aspect of this role, as you will work closely with team members and the client to provide timely technical support and updates on genset status.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical or Electrical Technology. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience working directly with MTU diesel generator sets within the 1250 to 2200 KVA range is required. You should have a strong understanding of diesel generator systems, including their controls and operational procedures.

Flexibility and commitment to working on-site according to the client’s operational schedule are essential. This role demands a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of genset performance and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
While not explicitly stated, candidates with additional certifications or training related to diesel generator maintenance and safety protocols will be viewed favorably. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your technical skills directly impact critical power infrastructure.

If you are dedicated to ensuring continuous power supply through expert genset maintenance and troubleshooting, we encourage you to apply and join our team in delivering exceptional service to our client.
