The role involves performing routine calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of various instrumentation and control systems, including flow, level, pressure, and temperature devices, pneumatic control valves, and safety shut-down systems.
It includes hands-on maintenance of Allen Bradley DCS systems, monitoring system performance, and addressing faults in control loops and safety systems, particularly within LPG operations.
The position supports the installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems, assists in system upgrades, and maintains accurate maintenance records. It also involves preparing maintenance schedules, reporting critical issues, and ensuring all activities comply with plant safety, health, and environmental standards. Active participation in safety drills, audits, and risk assessments is essential to maintain continuous plant safety and operational efficiency.
