COMSATS Internet Services (CIS), Pakistan's pioneer ISP, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for appointment on a contract basis against the post of Manager (Operations) for Faisalabad, Peshawar and Sialkot Offices. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in networks operations management with a focus on wireless networks and wireless network architecture. This role demands excellent managerial and technical skills to oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and reliability in service delivery. The Manager (Operations) will be responsible for guiding a team of six or more professionals, fostering collaboration, and enhancing team performance through effective leadership and communication. The successful candidate must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, including expertise in sales of IT equipment, software, and internet services. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential to liaise with internal teams and external clients effectively. This role involves strategic planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives to support the company’s objectives and growth in the competitive wireless network industry.
Responsibilities
Details of the position and placement is as under.
- Well versed knowledge of wireless networks, routing, switching configuration, wireless P2P links, firewall, UBNT AP and Client side devices configuration / troubleshooting, NMS software installation / optimization, VLAN, Access control lists, policy based routing and configuration and trouble shooting skills. Microtik and MRTG configuration skills are also required
- Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
- Ensure daily activities and monitoring of sales persons, technical team and ensure timely troubleshooting at client’s end.
- Create proposals and responses to RFI / RFP documents.
- Develop relationships with prospects, customers, and channel partners.
- Be a team player communicating with colleagues and other department members.
