General Objectives: Execute the pharmacy/medical warehouse storing activities to keep pharmacy stock above security level and following recommended conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.) in collaboration with the Pharmacy Supervisor and the logistics team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Following material orders and dispatching to ensure rational use.
  • Receiving orders and deliveries, identifying potential disparities against cargo manifest or others, reporting them, and storing materials according to the system in force for continuous availability. This includes ensuring good storage conditions of all medical items in accordance with pharmaceutical standards.
  • Ensuring correct entries on the stock cards and software.
  • Carrying out or participating in regular inventories, including EPREP stock.
  • Monitoring stock levels regarding alarm thresholds, stock outs, expiry dates, and drugs expiring in the next six months.
  • Preparing orders for different consumption units (departments, wards, etc.), ensuring proper packaging and dispatching, and reporting any anomalies or changes in consumption patterns to the Pharmacy Supervisor.
  • Controlling warehouse facilities to ensure materials are kept in good conditions, including monitoring temperature and ensuring products requiring a cold chain are stored and transported according to protocols.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the stock pharmacy premises and maintaining refrigerating equipment in collaboration with the logistics department.
  • Controlling access to the warehouse, ensuring that it's limited to authorized personnel, and securing doors and exits. Inform the line manager of any issues, particularly regarding damage, loss, attempted break-ins, or theft.
  • Preparing reports on stock levels and passing them to the supervisor.
