The Store Incharge at Frontier Platinum Group plays a critical role in managing daily inventory operations with precision and efficiency. This position involves overseeing the receiving, storing, and issuing of materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. The Store Incharge works closely with procurement and production teams to ensure stock levels are optimized, preventing shortages and excess inventory. This role requires proficiency in inventory management, stock reconciliation, and the use of ERP systems. Additionally, the Store Incharge ensures safety and compliance with company regulations in the storage environment. Although this position does not include managing a team, the Store Incharge is responsible for maintaining operational standards and coordinating activities related to inventory control and supply chain. The Store Incharge performs regular audits, coordinates with vendors, and maintains high standards of safety and security within the store to safeguard assets and support smooth business operations.
Responsibilities

  • Oversee the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of incoming materials, ensuring alignment with order specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using ERP systems or manual registers to facilitate transparency and accountability.
  • Implement inventory management techniques such as First-In, First-Out (FIFO) to manage product shelf life and minimize waste.
  • Conduct regular physical stock checks and audits to identify and resolve discrepancies between recorded and actual inventory.
  • Issue materials according to authorized requests from production or other internal departments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Organize and maintain the storage area to ensure safety, cleanliness, and easy accessibility of materials at all times.
  • Manage non-moving, slow-moving, or rejected stock by coordinating proper disposal or return to suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor stock levels continuously and raise purchase requisitions proactively to avoid stockouts and support uninterrupted production.
  • Coordinate effectively with vendors regarding delivery schedules, stock shortages, and issues related to procurement and supply chain.
  • Ensure the security of the store premises by implementing measures to prevent theft, damage, or loss of inventory assets.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant health, safety, and company regulations to foster a safe working environment within the store.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and other relevant teams to optimize supply chain coordination and inventory availability.
