As a Financial Product Specialist II (Mid-Market), you will play a critical role in guiding customers through the onboarding and early adoption phases of Motive’s financial product, the Motive Card. You will manage an assigned portfolio, overseeing the implementation process from post-sales handoff through to successful launch. Your responsibilities will include helping customers activate their cards, configure spend controls, and establish consistent usage patterns. This role requires close collaboration with customers and internal teams to address routine implementation questions, maintain adoption momentum, and relay valuable feedback to improve products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end implementation of Mid-Market customer accounts, aligning stakeholders, onboarding plans, and milestones to ensure a smooth launch.
- Guide customers through card setup, activation, and spend adoption, coordinating necessary operational and accounting workflows.
- Monitor onboarding progress against spend goals, proactively identifying at-risk rollouts and coordinating corrective actions to keep implementations on track.
- Collaborate with Support, Product, Risk, Underwriting, Finance, and other internal partners to resolve customer issues; escalate complex or high-impact cases through appropriate channels.
- Maintain detailed account records and ensure consistent customer follow-through, while sharing insights that contribute to product pilots and process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer-facing roles such as onboarding, implementation, sales, client operations, or working with financial products or complex services.
- Proven ability to manage customer onboarding, rollout, adoption, or recovery plans involving multiple stakeholders, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Solid understanding of customer onboarding, training, and spend management workflows, including card issuance, spend controls, transaction declines, rebates, and reconciliation. Ability to collaborate on related risk, credit, fraud, underwriting, or dispute matters.
- Experience leading live customer interactions—such as calls, meetings, and product demonstrations—communicating product capabilities and financial workflows clearly and effectively.
- Strong skills as a cross-functional liaison, translating customer goals and feedback into actionable product narratives and coordinating resolution of customer-impacting issues.
