What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
-Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products
Meet relevant stakeholders for Data Analytics Team, including internal (CVM, Business Analysis, Technology, Commercial) and external (Vendor).
Develop understanding of relevant production systems, product hierarchies, structures and design, systems and technologies used
Understand the processes followed to analyse requirements, and translate into technical design
 
-Within 60 days, you will:
Establish good relationship with relevant stakeholders to independently drive requirements, and oversee implementation
Recommend ways to improve current business processes, scripts and jobs deployed in production
Develop new processes and jobs to solve simple and intermediate complexity DWH problems
Using analytical skills, convert business questions into technical queries, and extract data accordingly
Coordinate internally with the team on Big Data and CMS projects to support development requirements
 
-Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Independently lead large scale development changes, with complete requirement analysis and development oversight
Work across multiple technology tools to provide answers to business queries
Ensure correctness and completeness of data and reporting from Data Warehouse and DMP

We currently have one of the biggest Analytics Infrastructure in Pakistan, especially servicing our reporting and analytical needs for the last 10 years. Now we are moving towards open-source, rebuilding the Data Platform to better serve our next-gen needs, which are real-time, contextual, and subscriber driven. This journey will transform us from a traditional Analytics team to a world-class Data Management team, focusing on utilizing technology to generate direct and indirect revenue streams for the company.
 
A bit about you:
We are looking for someone who has already delivered on challenging projects and has taken end to end responsibility from planning to roll out within the data analytics domain.Prior experience of Teradata, Data-warehousing, and dimensional modelling will be preferred.
 
A bit about us:
Data Analytics team is part of Analytics & Insights Department within Commercial. The team is responsible to manage complete technical data analysis and reporting needs at Jazz.
The structure of the team you will join is:
·       A 26-member team (including the department head) with 03 sub teams
·       You will be part of a 03 member sub-team reporting to a manager
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
·       Delivering a Big Data based Data Management Platform
·       Ensuring 99.99% completeness and correctness of reporting needs of the company
With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team. What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?
Ability to build strong relationships with External Teams: Vendors, In-house Resource Augmentation Teams, etc.
Ability to build strong relationships with Internal Teams: Finance, Marketing, Tech, Sales, Product Development

·       Data Management Platform – a re-imagined look at meeting the analytical requirements of the company
·       Merging the Datawarehouses of Jazz and Warid to provide singular reporting
