• Produce rough sketches and use CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints.
• Take direction and implement into sketches to produce the final work
• Produce plans, elevations, technical details and building layouts
• Draw maps, diagrams or plans for construction sites and structures
• Plan and draw details of bridges, highways and waste water management systems
• Work with town planners, engineers and other construction workers to produce plans and drawings.
• Visit sites to gather information, and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.
• Communicate with Engineers to understand the project requirements and specifications
• Make changes or adjustments in drafts after feedback
• Ensure all project designs and plans adhere to the industry standard and safety regulations
• Conduct in-depth research before working on the designs
• Mention instructions on blueprints using symbols and other special notations.
