Journey Junction Travels and Tours seeks an experienced Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses between one and five years of experience working in a travel agency and is adept at managing customer travel requirements with precision and care. This role focuses on utilizing advanced travel booking systems, such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo, to deliver exceptional travel planning and booking services. The Travel Consultant is responsible for international and domestic air ticketing, including knowledge of fare rules, ticket re-issuance, refunds, and exchanges. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential to provide our clients with comprehensive travel solutions, encompassing air travel, visa, and hotel reservations. This role demands a professional attitude and the ability to perform effectively under pressure while meeting client expectations. The Travel Consultant acts as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless coordination of all travel arrangements and delivering expert guidance on destination options and travel regulations. The role requires proficiency in Passenger Name Record (PNR) creation and ticket issuance, as well as a strong understanding of travel reservation software. Candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused will thrive within our team environment. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the individual plays a vital role in supporting client satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of Journey Junction Travels and Tours by maintaining high standards in accuracy and timely delivery of services.
Responsibilities

  • Use travel booking systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo to book and manage air tickets and travel arrangements for clients.
  • Create and manage Passenger Name Records (PNRs) accurately to ensure full documentation of client itinerary and preferences.
  • Provide expert advice on international and domestic airfare, including fare rules, ticket re-issuance, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Coordinate visa and hotel reservations to meet clients' travel requirements and comply with travel regulations.
  • Offer detailed destination knowledge and guidance tailored to customer needs and preferences.
  • Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and provide efficient solutions to travel-related issues.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their travel goals and plan trips that align with budget, timing, and preferences.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel regulations, airline policies, and industry developments to provide accurate information.
  • Ensure timely issuance of tickets and confirmations to guarantee smooth travel experiences for clients.
  • Manage multiple bookings under pressure while maintaining high accuracy and outstanding customer service.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best travel services and rates for clients.
  • Document travel details and transactions accurately to maintain comprehensive travel records and reports.
