Join Journey Junction Travels and Tours as a Travel Consultant where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional travel planning and booking services to our clients. With a team of three under your supervision, you will coordinate and manage travel arrangements that include air ticketing, hotel reservations, and visa consultations. Your expertise in various global distribution systems and strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations will ensure clients receive the best possible travel solutions tailored to their needs and preferences. In this role, you leverage your 4 years of experience to guide customers through complex travel plans while maintaining a professional and service-oriented approach. You will navigate fare rules, ticket issuance procedures, and re-issue or refund processes efficiently. Your ability to communicate clearly and work under pressure is essential in maintaining high customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness for the agency.
Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of three travel staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage ticketing and reservation processes for domestic and international flights using Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo global distribution systems.
  • Consult with clients to understand their travel requirements and provide customized itinerary options.
  • Create and manage passenger name records (PNRs) and process ticket issuance with close attention to fare rules, re-issue, refund, and exchange policies.
  • Provide expert advice on travel destinations, visa requirements, hotel accommodations, and other travel-related services.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure compliance with airline and travel agency policies, promoting best practices and industry standards.
  • Stay current on travel industry trends, new destinations, and changing regulations to provide up-to-date information to clients.
  • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and visa services for timely bookings and confirmations.
  • Maintain accurate records of client transactions and bookings in travel booking systems.
  • Train and support team members in utilizing booking and reservation systems effectively.
  • Manage workloads efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain smooth operational flow even under pressure.
