The university is seeking a full-time, on-site Junior Lecturer in Computer Science to join its academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in computer science and related subjects. This role involves designing lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with departmental curricula and academic standards. The Junior Lecturer will assess student performance through assignments and examinations, provide academic guidance and mentoring, and actively contribute to curriculum development. Collaboration with faculty members on academic initiatives, participation in departmental meetings, and staying current with emerging trends in computing and cybersecurity are also key aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions in computer science and related fields.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials in line with academic standards.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and other evaluation methods.
- Provide academic support, guidance, and mentoring to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Contribute to curriculum development by designing course outlines, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with faculty members on academic projects and departmental activities.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements and emerging trends in computing and cybersecurity.

Required Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of Computer Science, capable of teaching core undergraduate concepts.
- Practical programming skills, with familiarity in commonly used languages and tools in both academic and industry contexts.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to introduce key security concepts to students.
- Experience or demonstrated potential in lecturing, including the ability to deliver clear and engaging presentations and facilitate classroom discussions.
- Competence in curriculum development, including designing course content, learning objectives, and assessment methods.
- Relevant academic qualification, typically a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline; candidates with a strong academic record may also be considered.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a student-centered approach and commitment to inclusive teaching practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a department, manage academic responsibilities efficiently, and utilize educational technologies and learning management systems.
