Webbuggs is looking for a talented MERN Stack Developer who is passionate about creating scalable web applications and addressing real-world challenges through modern JavaScript technologies. This onsite position offers the chance to collaborate closely with a dynamic team dedicated to building impactful software solutions. The role demands strong full-stack development skills, including expertise in database design, REST API integration, and proficiency with current frontend frameworks. The working hours for this position are from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Design, optimize, and manage both SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, focusing on indexing, joins, stored procedures, and query performance tuning. Build and integrate secure authentication systems using JWT, OAuth, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Create and consume RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth communication between frontend and backend services. Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Bootstrap. Manage application state effectively using Redux, Context API, and React Hooks. Collaborate with version control systems such as Git and GitHub, following best practices for code management. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and cloud services to enhance application functionality. Write reusable, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to industry standards. Participate in debugging, unit testing, and continuous improvement of software quality.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in MERN stack development is essential. Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js is required. A solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database systems, including design and optimization techniques, is necessary. Experience with RESTful API development and integration is expected. Candidates should be skilled in building secure authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, and RBAC. Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Bootstrap is important. Familiarity with state management tools like Redux, Context API, and React Hooks is required. Experience with Git and GitHub for version control is necessary. The ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code is critical. Knowledge of unit testing and debugging methodologies is also expected.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
