Jr. SQA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and analyze test requirements to develop detailed test cases and related documentation throughout the software testing lifecycle. Design and implement scalable automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or VB. Build and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch to ensure efficient and reliable testing processes. Conduct manual testing of desktop, web, and mobile applications employing various testing techniques. Work collaboratively within Agile Scrum teams by creating, estimating, and managing tasks effectively. Communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentor and coach team members by sharing best practices to promote a culture of quality across the organization. Utilize SQL queries to perform comprehensive database-level testing. Escalate issues promptly to relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.

Required Qualifications:
0 to 12 months of relevant experience in software quality assurance or testing roles. Practical experience with testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestComplete, Appium, Katalon Studio, Ascential Test, Jenkins, and Jira. Familiarity with test and bug reporting tools to document and track software defects efficiently. Strong communication skills to articulate technical details clearly and effectively. Ability to collaborate well within a team environment and escalate issues when necessary. The position is based in Karachi, Pakistan.
