We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and take charge of building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with a deep understanding of themes, plugins, APIs, and performance optimization. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can efficiently convert design mockups into responsive, functional web pages while ensuring excellent site speed and SEO performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
- Convert design mockups into responsive and fully functional WordPress pages.
- Customize WooCommerce, Elementor, and other plugins as required.
- Write clean, secure, and reusable code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, plugin conflicts, and layout issues.
- Manage website migrations, backups, and updates efficiently.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Elementor, WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and custom post types.
- Solid understanding of REST API, WordPress hooks, and filters.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and staging environments.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience developing custom plugins and themes.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices to enhance website visibility.
- Familiarity with hosting environments like cPanel and Hostinger.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles to improve user experience.
- This is a full-time, in-person position offering a monthly salary of Rs60,000.
