- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networking
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware and software faults.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance.
- Securing Network, hardware and software privacy through installation of antivirus, installation and monitoring of firewalls, updating passwords etc.
- Provide orientation and guidelines and support to users as and when needed.
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
- Repair and replace parts or arrange repair of products / equipment.
- Maintain records/logs of procurement, repairs, and fixes and maintenance schedule.
- Identify computer or network equipment shortage or replacement needed and arrange purchase.
- Schedule and take backups of database of specific users.
