Junior Accountant / Data Entry Operator

Optimum Tech is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant / Data Entry Operator for one of our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain practical experience in accounting, data entry, and financial record management. The role involves working closely with financial documents and company records, providing a solid foundation for those looking to build a career in accounting or administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and maintain financial data using Excel and company record systems.
- Manage invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Assist with daily accounting entries and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Organize and update financial records and spreadsheets regularly.
- Support data verification processes and reconcile records as needed.
- Carry out routine office documentation and data entry duties efficiently.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master’s in Commerce (M.Com), Bachelor of Arts (BA), or Bachelor of Science (BS) in a relevant field.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good typing speed combined with strong attention to detail.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
- Hands-on experience in related tasks is preferred.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt to new processes.
