Junior Accountant

Ahmaar is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its Accounts & Finance team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily accounting and financial operations, ensuring all activities are accurate and compliant with established accounting standards. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills, is essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily financial records and accounting entries.
- Efficiently manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment records promptly.
- Maintain bank records and conduct regular bank reconciliations.
- Record and monitor company expenses and financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and expense summaries.
- Maintain employee salary sheets, payroll records, including deductions and advances.
- Track outstanding payments, vendor balances, and reimbursements.
- Ensure proper financial documentation and maintain organized filing systems.
- Coordinate with management on payments and other financial matters.
- Support tax documentation and perform additional accounting tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, data management, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with accounting software and bookkeeping principles.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and consistently meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates responsibility, honesty, and professionalism.
