Junior Accountant

Unity Exploration Pvt Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to join their team in Islamabad. This full-time position operates from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Saturday. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including revenue collection, cash handling, bank transactions, bookkeeping, and maintaining financial records. They will work closely with the CFO and management to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely closure of accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage E-01 revenue collection and reconcile check-in/check-out forms with sales records.
- Submit collected revenue to the CEO's office and oversee requisition payments and cash disbursements.
- Verify delivery notes and close requisitions accordingly.
- Handle daily bank deposits, withdrawals, receipts, payments, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Maintain bookkeeping records, accounting data, and physical files for receipts and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain Maxim receipts and payment records.
- Support accounts, finance, and costing activities.
- Provide financial data and supporting documents to the CFO for monthly GST filings and annual audits.
- Close the books of accounts by the 29th of each month and prepare a draft Profit & Loss Statement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management and the CFO.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, cash management, and financial documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent numerical accuracy, organizational skills, integrity, and attention to detail.

Compensation and Work Environment
The position offers a starting salary from Rs50,000 per month. The role requires in-person attendance at the Islamabad office.
