Junior Animator

Digitally Hatch, a full-service digital agency serving clients across Australia and the US, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Animator to join their design team in Karachi, Pakistan. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with 0-2 years of experience who are passionate about bringing ideas to life through motion graphics, 2D animation, and short-form video content. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with experienced designers, and contribute to a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D animations, motion graphics, and explainer videos tailored to client projects.
- Animate logos, illustrations, social media content, and website assets to enhance brand storytelling.
- Collaborate with designers and the creative lead to develop storyboards and animatics.
- Edit and refine videos, incorporating sound, transitions, captions, and visual effects.
- Adapt animations for various platforms including Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and websites.
- Incorporate feedback effectively and deliver revisions within deadlines.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to brand guidelines consistently.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Illustrator is essential.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
- Solid understanding of animation principles such as timing, spacing, and easing.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating motion graphics or 2D animation work.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to accept and act on feedback.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Blender, Figma, or Lottie is advantageous.
- Basic skills in video editing and sound design are a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools is desirable.
- Previous internship or freelance experience will be considered a strong asset.
