Junior AR Specialist

Doctors Urgent Care Group, a fast-growing urgent care provider with 31 locations across the United States and a workforce of over 300 employees, is looking to hire a Junior AR Specialist for its Lahore, Pakistan office. This full-time, on-site position focuses on Denial Management within the US healthcare medical billing environment. The role involves working closely with billing and operations teams under the guidance of the Director of Operations. Candidates should have up to two years of relevant experience, particularly with AdvancedMD (AMD) software. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM Pakistan time, totaling approximately 45 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on insurance claim denials and rejections to ensure timely resolution.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues related to claim denials.
- Review denied claims and determine appropriate corrective actions to facilitate resubmission.
- Submit corrected claims and appeals as necessary to insurance providers.
- Maintain communication with insurance companies regarding outstanding claims to expedite payments.
- Understand and apply insurance guidelines, including Medicare and Medicaid policies.
- Review medical billing records to ensure accuracy in claim submissions.
- Monitor accounts receivable and actively work to reduce outstanding balances.
- Identify recurring denial patterns and recommend process improvements to minimize future denials.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all billing and denial management activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational goals.

Required Qualifications
- Up to 2 years of hands-on experience in Denial Management and Medical Billing within the US healthcare system.
- Proficiency with AdvancedMD (AMD) software is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of US healthcare billing processes, insurance claims, and related regulations.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance denials, and appeals procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to complete an AdvancedMD technical assessment as part of the recruitment process.

Salary and Compensation
The monthly salary for this role ranges from PKR 70,000 to PKR 100,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall suitability. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, practical expertise, and technical knowledge.

This position is based on-site in Lahore and requires availability during the specified working hours. Only candidates with relevant experience in Denial Management and AdvancedMD software will be considered. Completion of the AdvancedMD technical assessment is a mandatory step in the hiring process.
