Junior Architect

Mas Designs, an architecture and interior design studio established in 2017, serves both corporate and residential clients with a focus on delivering high-quality, long-lasting design solutions. The studio prioritizes a limited number of projects to ensure attention to detail and usability. The team works closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to create spaces that are both functional and visually appealing. We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Junior Architect based in Lahore to join our collaborative and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
The Junior Architect will support the development of architectural concepts and assist in preparing drawings and design documentation for various corporate and residential projects. Daily tasks include working on architectural layouts, interior design details, CAD drafting, and 3D modeling. The role requires close coordination with senior architects to refine design solutions and maintain design intent throughout project execution. Additionally, the Junior Architect will participate in site visits, assist with project coordination, and help ensure smooth communication with consultants and vendors. Preparing presentations and updating project records are also important aspects of this position.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a strong foundation in architecture and architectural design, including skills in conceptualization, space planning, and detailing. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools is essential, along with basic graphic presentation skills. Familiarity with software development and integration relevant to architectural workflows, including the use of design and collaboration tools, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate project management abilities, including task organization, timeline tracking, and supporting coordination among project stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn from senior team members are critical. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a studio environment are also required. A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution is mandatory, and prior professional internship or studio experience will be considered an advantage.
