Junior Content Writer

We are seeking a Junior Content Writer to join our team and contribute to creating SEO-friendly blog posts, website content, landing pages, product descriptions, and social media captions. This role involves researching industry trends, competitors, keywords, and target audiences to develop relevant and engaging content. The ideal candidate will work closely with SEO, social media, and digital marketing teams to support content strategies and ensure consistent publishing schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Write SEO-friendly blog posts, website content, landing pages, product descriptions, and social media captions.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, keywords, and target audiences to develop relevant content.
- Create clear, engaging, and well-structured content that aligns with SEO and digital marketing goals.
- Optimize existing content by incorporating relevant keywords, headings, internal links, and following on-page SEO best practices.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, readability, grammar, and consistency.
- Utilize AI writing tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to support research, content development, and optimization while maintaining originality and quality.
- Collaborate with SEO, social media, and digital marketing teams to plan and execute content strategies.
- Adhere to content calendars, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent publishing schedules.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, Communications, or related fields. Degrees in Business Administration or Digital Marketing will also be considered.
- Strong command of written English, including grammar, spelling, proofreading, and sentence structure.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in content writing, copywriting, or a similar role.
- Experience writing SEO-friendly blogs, website content, landing pages, product descriptions, and social media captions.
- Basic understanding of SEO keyword research, on-page optimization, and content structuring.
- Strong research, proofreading, editing, and English grammar skills.
- Ability to create original, engaging, and reader-friendly content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to support research and content development while maintaining originality and quality.
- Ability to meet deadlines, follow a content calendar, collaborate with marketing teams, and incorporate feedback.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms is an added advantage.
- Work location is in person.
- Compensation is offered up to Rs 60,000 per month.
