Junior Counsel

We are seeking a skilled legal professional to join our team, responsible for drafting and managing contracts, supporting legal compliance, and providing expert advice on risk and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure the company’s legal rights are protected and that all agreements align with current legislation. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple complex issues simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft and finalize agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to safeguard the company’s legal interests.
- Assist the Legal Counsel in managing the contracts repository and support the implementation of a contract life cycle management system.
- Engage in negotiations with various parties including business units, regulators, external counsel, and public authorities.
- Apply effective risk management techniques and provide proactive legal advice to mitigate potential issues.
- Clarify legal language and specifications for internal teams to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Conduct ongoing legal research to stay updated on changes in legislation and case law, informing counsel of relevant impacts.
- Support Legal and Compliance Counsel in conducting investigations and help implement the Business Integrity program within the region.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Proven work experience in the legal sector.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
