Xcentric Services is seeking a Junior Data Analyst with 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in data analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with data from various sources, creating insightful reports and dashboards, and utilizing analytical tools to support business decision-making. This full-time position is based in DHA Phase 1, Lahore, with working hours from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in data visualization, SQL querying, and cross-departmental collaboration within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
- Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards to track key metrics.
- Develop and update interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
- Write basic to intermediate SQL queries to extract and analyze data efficiently.
- Monitor and report on key business KPIs and performance indicators.
- Identify data inconsistencies and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Automate or enhance recurring reports and data processes to improve efficiency.
- Work closely with various departments to understand and fulfill their reporting needs.
- Present findings and reports clearly to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain thorough documentation of reports, dashboards, data sources, and processes.

Required Qualifications

- 6 months to 1 year of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or in a related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data cleaning techniques.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction and basic analysis.
- Experience developing dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
- Basic understanding of data visualization principles and KPI reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis is a plus.
