Junior Data Engineer

We are seeking a full-time Junior Data Engineer to join our team on-site in Karachi, Pakistan. This role involves building, maintaining, and optimizing ETL processes and data pipelines to support our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing complex SQL queries, performing data validation and cleansing, and providing reporting support. Additionally, the role requires managing tasks through Jira to ensure smooth project tracking and timely delivery. This position operates during the morning shift and offers a competitive salary range.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Perform data validation and cleansing to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Support reporting activities by preparing and delivering data insights as required.
- Track and manage tasks using Jira, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries.
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts and experience working with data pipelines.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
