Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Implement and manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Deploy and oversee containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient environments.
- Collaborate closely with developers, system administrators, and cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices, resolve production issues, and facilitate seamless environment transitions.
- Apply security best practices, implement monitoring and logging solutions, and support the ongoing reliability and performance of production systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
- Between 1 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, cloud engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure, with hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) components including EC2, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Skilled in CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with SQL and MSSQL databases.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.
