Junior Django Developer

Webbuggs is seeking a motivated Junior Python Django Developer to join our development team. This role is ideal for a junior developer or fresh graduate with relevant project experience who is eager to gain hands-on experience and grow their career in backend and web development. The successful candidate will work on building and maintaining real-world web applications using Python and Django, contributing to various stages of the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Python and Django frameworks.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party services.
- Work with relational databases, performing CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations efficiently.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues to ensure smooth functionality.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers and other team members to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services as required by project needs.
- Conduct thorough testing of applications and promptly fix bugs.
- Participate actively in code reviews and development discussions to maintain code quality.
- Adhere to coding standards and software development best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

- 0 to 1 year of experience in Python and Django development, including internships or project work.
- Solid understanding of Python fundamentals and basic to intermediate knowledge of Django.
- Familiarity with REST API concepts and implementation.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team environment.
