Junior Editor Social Sciences

This role is focused on supporting the timely production of high-quality educational materials in Social Science subjects—including Social Studies, History, Geography, Atlases, and Pakistan Studies—as well as Computer Science. The successful candidate will manage assigned projects from commissioning through to print-ready manuscripts and digital resources, working closely with the line manager to ensure alignment with curriculum requirements and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit, proofread, and conduct quality checks on both print and digital content to ensure accuracy, curriculum alignment, appropriate educational level, and consistency.
- Collaborate effectively with authors, reviewers, designers, and internal teams to guarantee the timely development and delivery of inclusive, engaging, and high-quality educational resources.
- Conduct research and engage with teachers, schools, and internal stakeholders to gather and analyze curriculum, market, customer, and competitor insights that inform publishing decisions.

Required Qualifications
- A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with excellent command of the English language.
- Strong editorial skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A solid understanding of curriculum and pedagogy, coupled with a genuine interest in developing subject knowledge.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including Microsoft Office, and an interest in the responsible use of AI and other digital technologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Teaching experience at primary and secondary education levels.
