The role involves managing and resolving equipment and product breakdowns at customer sites efficiently within defined turnaround times. The candidate will be responsible for timely registration and reporting of all breakdowns to the Head Office, analyzing recurring issues, and implementing preventive measures to minimize downtime. Ensuring smooth execution of preventive maintenance plans and maintaining detailed logs of all maintenance activities are critical to this position. The individual will also coordinate spare parts management, conduct root cause analysis for critical failures, and uphold safety standards in compliance with company and client protocols. Additionally, the role requires guiding customer teams on equipment upkeep, managing shift handovers, and overseeing company assets on site. Strong communication with the Head Office and cross-functional collaboration to address customer pain points and improve solution reliability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Proactively resolve equipment and product breakdowns within the defined turnaround time at customer locations.
- Ensure all breakdowns are registered on the same day and daily reports are submitted to the Head Office.
- Analyze recurring breakdowns and develop preventive action plans for critical issues.
- Execute preventive maintenance plans for all equipment according to company guidelines and checklists.
- Maintain detailed logs of all breakdown and maintenance activities resulting from equipment operation.
- Record spare parts consumption, anomalies, recommendations, and insufficiencies post-maintenance, obtaining customer consent and reporting to the Head Office.
- Ensure availability of all necessary spares, consumables, tools, and tackles for uninterrupted site operations and maintenance.
- Prepare root cause analysis reports for critical or repeated breakdowns, ensuring timely communication, approval, and distribution within the specified turnaround time.
- Adhere strictly to safety practices and protocols as per company and client guidelines; report any unsafe incidents promptly.
- Provide guidance to the customer’s operations and support teams on proper equipment upkeep in line with company standards.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover (HOTO) procedures are followed daily, with all relevant information logged and communicated to the next shift.
- Take accountability for all company assets, including tools and tackles, available on site during the shift.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points; analyze repeat errors in deployed solutions and share findings with the Head Office.
- Offer technical and emotional support, mentorship, and guidance to the team to meet performance targets, coordinating with cross-functional teams as needed.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in equipment maintenance and breakdown resolution in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong analytical skills to identify recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Ability to maintain detailed maintenance logs and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with customers, internal teams, and management.
- Competence in managing spare parts inventory and ensuring availability of necessary tools.
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis and preparing actionable reports.
