Starch Pack Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join their team in Kasur as a Maintenance Technician specializing in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I). Reporting to the Lead E&I, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth plant operations through preventive, planned, and shutdown maintenance activities. This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues and managing shift-based complaints to maintain continuous production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute maintenance tasks on all control systems, including DCS/PLC, transformers, motors, electrical and instrumentation equipment, control valves, and field instruments during assigned shifts.
- Address and resolve maintenance-related complaints promptly to minimize downtime and restore equipment functionality.
- Support supervisory staff with on-site modifications and changes, coordinating closely with relevant departments and stakeholders.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as per the approved schedule to enhance equipment reliability, availability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to identify opportunities for equipment improvements and ensure maintenance records and documentation are accurately updated.
- Identify and communicate potential risks and hazards before starting maintenance work, strictly adhering to Permit-to-Work (PTW) protocols and all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
- Undertake any additional job-related duties as assigned to support plant operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of control systems such as DCS and PLC, along with hands-on experience in maintaining transformers, motors, control valves, and field instruments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently under shift-based working conditions.
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and scheduling.
- Understanding of safety protocols, including Permit-to-Work systems and HSE compliance.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams.
