Junior Horticulture / Exotic Fruit Farm Officer

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Junior Horticulture / Exotic Fruit Farm Officer based near Lahore, Pakistan. The role involves supporting the technical management of an experimental exotic fruit farm. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of orchard establishment and maintenance, including irrigation, fertigation, plant nutrition, pest and disease control, propagation, crop monitoring, record keeping, and supervision of farm workers. This position offers a valuable chance for fresh agriculture graduates to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic farming environment. Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the establishment and management of exotic fruit orchards, ensuring proper planting and care techniques are followed.
- Manage irrigation and fertigation schedules to optimize plant growth and health.
- Monitor plant nutrition and apply fertilizers as needed to maintain crop vitality.
- Identify and manage pests and diseases through appropriate control measures.
- Support propagation activities including grafting and seedling care.
- Conduct regular crop monitoring to assess growth stages and overall orchard health.
- Maintain detailed records of farm activities, inputs, and outputs to ensure accurate documentation.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of farm workers to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Travel as required to support farm operations and related activities.

Required Qualifications

- A degree in Agriculture or a related field is mandatory.
- Fresh graduates with relevant academic background are encouraged to apply.
