Junior Interior Designer

The Junior Interior Designer will play a vital role in supporting the design team by developing interior concepts, assisting with space planning, and preparing design presentations for both residential and commercial projects. This full-time, on-site position based in Lahore involves producing and updating construction drawings, coordinating furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selections, and assisting with material and finish specifications under the guidance of senior designers and architects. The role also requires participation in client meetings to take detailed notes and help translate client needs into practical design solutions. Additionally, the Junior Interior Designer will visit project sites to monitor design implementation, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and maintain project documentation and schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing interior design concepts and space planning layouts that meet project requirements.
- Produce and update detailed construction drawings, including plans, sections, and details, to support on-site execution.
- Coordinate FF&E selections and specifications in alignment with overall design concepts.
- Prepare design presentations and visual materials for client meetings and internal reviews.
- Participate in client meetings, documenting requirements and feedback accurately.
- Support site visits to monitor design implementation and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
- Maintain organized project documentation, schedules, and assist in budget tracking.

Required Qualifications
- Ability to work proficiently with space planning and interior design principles to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.

- Understanding of FF&E selection, specification, and coordination within design projects.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
- Basic skills in presentation software including Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Strong visual, conceptual, and technical design skills with keen attention to detail.
