The Junior Interior Designer will play a vital role in supporting the design team by developing interior concepts and assisting with space planning for both residential and commercial projects. This full-time, on-site position based in Lahore involves producing and updating construction drawings, coordinating furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selections, and assisting with material and finish specifications under the supervision of senior designers and architects. The role requires active participation in client meetings to capture detailed notes and help translate client requirements into practical design solutions. Additionally, the Junior Interior Designer will visit project sites to monitor design implementation, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and maintain project documentation and schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing interior design concepts and space planning that align with project requirements.
- Prepare and update construction drawings, including plans, sections, and details, ensuring accuracy for on-site execution.
- Support FF&E selection, specification, and coordination to integrate with overall design concepts.
- Participate in client meetings, documenting requirements and contributing to design solutions.
- Visit project sites to monitor implementation, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and ensure design compliance.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and assist with budget tracking under senior team guidance.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate professionally with clients and contractors.

Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of space planning and interior design principles to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Foundational knowledge of architecture and construction drawings to support accurate design documentation.
- Familiarity with FF&E selection and coordination processes.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or equivalents. Basic skills in presentation tools like Adobe Suite and MS Office are also necessary.
- Strong visual, conceptual, and technical design skills with keen attention to detail and adherence to established standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in on-site environments.
- Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Internship or junior-level experience in design or construction is advantageous.
- Organized, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support project budgets.
