Junior Oracle Developer

Join Al Khair Gadoon Ltd. as a Junior Oracle Developer to contribute to the development and support of Oracle-based applications and database solutions. This role involves applying your SQL and PL/SQL skills to enhance business applications, develop reports, troubleshoot issues, and implement system improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Oracle applications and database solutions to meet business needs.
- Write, test, and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and functions for efficient data processing.
- Assist in creating and maintaining PL/SQL packages and triggers.
- Support the development and upkeep of Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and database-related issues promptly.
- Perform testing, debugging, and error resolution to ensure system reliability.
- Assist with application modifications and system enhancements as required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed technical documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with the IT team to improve data integrity and overall application performance.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Oracle development or a related technical area; fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL programming.
- Understanding of Oracle Forms and Reports development and maintenance.
- Familiarity with database concepts and programming fundamentals.
- Ability to perform basic application testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining accurate technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience or familiarity with Oracle APEX or Oracle Fusion is considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% as part of job requirements (preferred).
- The position is based in Lahore, and candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
- Competitive monthly salary range from Rs 55,000 to Rs 120,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
