Junior Restaurant Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Restaurant Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting inventory and expense management. This role involves close collaboration with store operations to ensure compliance with company financial policies and to facilitate smooth financial processes within the restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting transactions and ensure accurate data entry.
- Reconcile daily sales by comparing POS data with cash, card, and online payment records.
- Verify revenue reports and deposit records for accuracy.
- Manage petty cash and operational expenses efficiently.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Coordinate with store teams to monitor stock consumption and prepare inventory reports.
- Assist in monthly inventory counts and stock valuation activities.
- Monitor food cost percentages and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare weekly and monthly summaries of branch expenses.
- Handle banking activities, including fund transfers and salary disbursements.
- Support month-end closing processes and prepare financial reports.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the restaurant or retail sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and reconciling sales data.
- Ability to manage petty cash and operational expenses with accuracy.
- Familiarity with inventory management and stock valuation processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with store teams.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with various departments.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.

This position is based in Dhoraji Colony, Karachi, and involves travel as part of the role. The salary range for this position is Rs80,000 to Rs100,000 per month. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply before the deadline on Tuesday, 14th September 2026.
