We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer with 1 to 1.5 years of experience, specializing in Python-based AI systems, chatbot development, and full-stack web development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with intelligent systems, backend APIs, and modern web applications using technologies such as React.js or Next.js, Flask, Node.js, and Express.js. This is a full-time role based in Karachi, Shahrah-e-Faisal, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AI-powered chatbots and automation systems using Python.
- Work with AI/ML models and integrate them into applications.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js & Express.js or Flask.
- Create responsive user interfaces with React.js or Next.js.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services seamlessly.
- Debug, test, and optimize application performance to ensure reliability.
- Collaborate closely with team members to design and implement new features.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Python programming with practical application in AI systems or chatbots.
- Familiarity with OpenAI APIs or other large language models (LLMs) is essential.
- Proficiency in frontend development using React.js or Next.js frameworks.
- Experience with backend development using Node.js and Express.js.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Working knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, SQL, or Supabase.
- Comfortable using Git and other version control tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Firebase is a plus.
- Basic understanding of deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
- Experience with no-code automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, or Make.com will be advantageous.
