Junior SQA Engineer

We are seeking Junior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineers to join our dynamic software house based in Karachi. The ideal candidates will be responsible for evaluating and testing web applications to ensure they function according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a technical team.

Key Responsibilities
- Test web applications against specifications and documentation to ensure compliance.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, errors, inconsistencies, and questionable functions in web applications, including outputs, online screens, and content.
- Establish benchmarks for program efficiency, focusing on operating and response times.
- Perform web UI validation to ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Create and execute detailed test cases and test data.
- Respond to user and technical support inquiries regarding application functions and operations.
- Contribute to the development of standards and procedures for application design and testing.
- Coordinate testing activities involving users and third parties.
- Document, track, and communicate test plans, results, analyses, and unresolved issues.
- Provide training and support to users as needed.
- Review and contribute to the documentation of web applications.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies and practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in client training and user support.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and how the web functions.
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is an advantage.
