Junior technical / electrical technician

Mass Technologies Co. is looking for a motivated and hardworking Junior UPS Technician / Electrical Technician to join its Technical Services & Field Operations team based in Karachi. This full-time position is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience who possess basic electrical or mechanical knowledge and a strong eagerness to learn. The role involves assisting with UPS installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, battery replacement, and providing on-site technical support at various customer locations including hospitals, laboratories, offices, and commercial facilities. The candidate must be flexible to work both indoors and outdoors, be willing to travel within Karachi and occasionally to other cities, and consistently follow safety and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of UPS systems.
- Support senior technicians in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair of UPS equipment.
- Perform battery replacements, battery connections, and basic battery testing under supervision.
- Assist with the installation of electrical equipment, wiring, cables, and related accessories.
- Help with the safe loading, unloading, and movement of UPS systems, batteries, and technical tools.
- Conduct site visits for installation, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Assist in the servicing and installation of electrical and power backup equipment.
- Follow technical instructions, workplace safety protocols, and customer site requirements diligently.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and basic service documentation.
- Travel within Karachi and occasionally to other cities for service and installation assignments.
- Work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines and customer schedules.

Required Qualifications

- Matriculation, Intermediate, or DAE in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Technology is preferred.
- Fresh candidates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, batteries, tools, and electrical safety practices.
- Genuine interest in UPS systems, power backup solutions, and technical fieldwork.
- Willingness to learn and develop practical skills under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Physically fit to handle equipment and batteries safely using proper lifting techniques.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments at customer locations.
- Willingness to travel outside Karachi when required.
- Punctual, responsible, hardworking, and professional in customer interactions.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle driving license and personal transport is an advantage, if applicable.
