Redstar Technologies is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw video footage into polished, engaging content tailored for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal projects. Your work will help capture audience attention and drive engagement by producing on-brand videos that align with our creative vision.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished, publish-ready content for social media, marketing, and internal use.
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and basic animations to enhance videos.
- Perform color correction, grading, audio syncing, cleanup, and mixing.
- Trim, cut, and assemble footage according to scripts, storyboards, or creative direction.
- Optimize videos for various platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok, ensuring correct formats, aspect ratios, and specifications.
- Select or edit background music, sound effects, and voiceovers to complement the video tone.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to understand project briefs and creative requirements.
- Organize and manage raw footage, project files, and assets systematically.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions promptly and accurately.
- Stay updated on video editing trends, formats, and social media best practices.
- Ensure timely delivery of videos in line with project deadlines.
- Maintain consistent brand style, tone, and quality across all video content.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in video editing, whether in an agency, in-house, or freelance setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects is a plus.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition for both short-form and long-form videos.
- Basic skills in motion graphics and text animation.
- Familiarity with color grading and audio editing fundamentals.
- Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of platform-specific video requirements, including Reels, Shorts, and LinkedIn videos.

Preferred Qualifications
- A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for basic graphic support.
- Familiarity with sound design or stock music and sound effects libraries.
- Prior experience editing videos for corporate, marketing, or social media teams.
