Junior Video Editor

TectSoft, a Lahore-based software company specializing in production-grade mobile and web applications for North American clients, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer & Video Editor. With over 50 live apps delivered across various industries such as healthcare, fitness, fintech, and lifestyle, TectSoft’s teams collaborate closely to produce polished digital products and engaging visual content. This full-time, onsite role based in Johar Town, Lahore, offers an opportunity to contribute to social media, marketing campaigns, brand storytelling, and product promotions by capturing and editing high-quality video content.

Key Responsibilities
- Shoot videos for social media platforms, company events, and promotional materials.
- Record office activities, team interactions, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Edit videos tailored for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Incorporate music, transitions, text, subtitles, and basic effects to enhance video quality.
- Manage basic camera setup, lighting arrangements, and audio recording during shoots.
- Create engaging short-form videos based on creative briefs and requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to transform ideas into compelling video content.
- Resize and format videos according to different social media specifications.
- Organize and maintain video footage and editing files systematically.
- Revise videos based on feedback to ensure quality and alignment with brand standards.
- Stay updated on social media trends and proactively suggest innovative content ideas.

Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in videography and video editing.
- A portfolio or sample videos demonstrating previous work.
- Basic understanding of camera handling, framing, and composition techniques.
- Familiarity with lighting setups and audio recording equipment.
- Proficiency in video editing and storytelling.
- Experience creating content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube.
- Knowledge of transitions, effects, subtitles, and sound editing basics.
- Strong creativity with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new tools and continuously improve skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, accept constructive feedback, and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications and Tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing software.
- Experience with CapCut or other short-form video editing applications.
- Basic familiarity with Adobe After Effects is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with DSLR, mirrorless cameras, or smartphones for shooting videos.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Interest in motion graphics and animation.
- Awareness of current Instagram Reels and TikTok trends.
- Understanding of lighting setups and microphone usage.
- A creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and innovate.

The position requires working onsite from 10 AM to 7 PM in Johar Town, Lahore, and involves close collaboration with marketing and design teams to produce engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
