Junior WordPress Developer

We are seeking a Junior WordPress Developer to join our team in Johar Town, Lahore. This full-time, onsite role requires a motivated individual capable of independently managing website development, customization, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization. The working hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM, and the salary offered is competitive within the market.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites tailored to various client needs and business objectives.
- Convert Figma designs into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites with pixel accuracy.
- Transform AI-generated or AI-built websites into well-structured WordPress sites.
- Customize and extend existing WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and functionalities.
- Create custom WordPress features using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Utilize popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Divi.
- Work with WooCommerce, custom post types, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), forms, and other WordPress functionalities.
- Implement basic API integrations and connect WordPress with third-party services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress core, plugins, themes, PHP, JavaScript, and compatibility.
- Apply functional and design changes while ensuring no disruption to existing website operations.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Manage website migrations, staging environments, backups, and deployment tasks.
- Review existing websites and code to identify problems and recommend practical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with designers, SEO specialists, project managers, and other developers to fulfill client requirements.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail when implementing design, functionality, and content updates.

Required Qualifications:
- 1.5 to 2 years of hands-on professional experience in WordPress development.
- Strong practical knowledge of WordPress and PHP.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience in creating and customizing WordPress themes, templates, and functionalities.
- Familiarity with Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, and other popular page builders.
- Experience with WooCommerce and its customization.
- Understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, template hierarchy, custom post types, and custom fields.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and API integrations.
- Ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress websites.
- Capability to convert AI-generated websites or designs into clean, functional WordPress sites.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Basic understanding of website performance optimization, caching, and security best practices.
- Ability to work with existing websites, including understanding unfamiliar code and setups.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in matching designs, spacing, typography, responsiveness, and functionality.
- Ability to work independently, identify issues, and develop practical solutions.
- Good communication skills with the ability to understand both technical and non-technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cPanel, Plesk, and hosting environments.
- Familiarity with Cloudflare and related services.
- Experience in website migrations and troubleshooting hosting-related issues.
- Knowledge of third-party plugins, integrations, forms, payment gateways, and external services.

Please note, this position requires an experienced developer comfortable with PHP and WordPress core functionality. This is not a role limited to page builders only; candidates must be capable of troubleshooting existing websites, implementing Figma designs, handling custom development tasks, and solving technical challenges independently.
