Junior WORDPRESS / PHP DEVELOPER

We are seeking a skilled WordPress/PHP Developer to join our team full-time and on-site, contributing to the development, maintenance, and optimization of WordPress websites and PHP applications with an emphasis on clean coding practices and performance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to project requirements.
- Build and manage PHP-based websites and internal tools to support business operations.
- Work extensively with MySQL databases, including writing queries and optimizing database performance.
- Debug, optimize, and maintain existing codebases to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Implement best practices for security and performance across all development tasks.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in WordPress and PHP development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of PHP versions 7.4 and above, including WordPress core functionalities.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and PHP coding standards.
- Solid experience with MySQL database design, query optimization, and management.
- Good working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize website functionality effectively.
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment with evolving priorities.
- Ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance development processes.
