Kamran Steel is seeking a skilled and experienced Deputy Manager Furnace Production to oversee and optimize furnace operations within the steel production process. This role requires expertise in managing induction furnaces, melting and pouring techniques, and metallurgical process monitoring to ensure efficient and high-quality steel production. The Deputy Manager will take charge of production management activities, including temperature control, scrap charging, and process automation, while maintaining rigorous standards for safety and operational excellence. The candidate will also be responsible for leveraging SCADA, DCS, and other control systems for real-time monitoring and effective process control. The Deputy Manager will lead and manage a diverse team of 60 personnel, promoting collaboration and operational efficiency across furnace production functions. The ideal candidate holds a BS or MS degree in Metallurgical Engineering and brings at least four years of relevant experience in the steel industry. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills are crucial to coordinate production efforts, drive process improvements, and maintain continuous casting machine (CCM) operations effectively. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth furnace production management at Kamran Steel through technological integration and hands-on supervisory expertise.
Responsibilities

Manage daily furnace operations including induction furnace melting, scrap charging, melting, tapping, and pouring processes to ensure efficient steel production.
Monitor and control furnace temperature and metallurgical processes using SCADA, DCS, and process automation systems for optimized production performance.
Oversee continuous casting machine (CCM) operations and maintain precise casting process control to meet product quality standards.
Supervise a team of 60 staff members in the furnace production area, ensuring effective communication, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols.
Implement and maintain process control strategies and automation tools for melting process control and real-time data acquisition.
Analyze metallurgical process data using advanced software to identify areas for operational improvement and troubleshoot production challenges.
Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting of furnace operation and control systems to minimize downtime and maintain optimum production capacity.
Ensure compliance with industry safety, environmental, and quality standards while driving continuous process enhancements and cost efficiencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, engineering, and procurement to align furnace production activities with company objectives.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to furnace production performance, process parameters, and team progress.
Lead training and development initiatives aimed at improving team skills, process knowledge, and operational safety awareness.
Drive adoption of new technologies in furnace production including process automation and advanced monitoring techniques to sustain Kamran Steel's competitive advantage.
