Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper (QuickBooks, Odoo & Excel)

Kap Lifestyle is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper with strong technical expertise in QuickBooks, Odoo ERP, and Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience managing a range of accounting functions, including bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. This role requires exceptional proficiency with QuickBooks and Odoo accounting modules to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and the preparation of financial statements. The candidate must demonstrate a strong analytical mindset and maintain high attention to detail to support accurate financial management and compliance. This position does not involve managing a team; however, the candidate must exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within the company. The role demands proficiency in advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and formulas to conduct data cleansing and detailed financial analysis. The Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining the companys chart of accounts, controlling journal entries and ledger management in Odoo, and overseeing the seamless integration of financial information to support operational decisions. This role is essential in maintaining the accuracy of the companys accounting records and providing insightful financial reports to management.
Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the companys accounting records using QuickBooks and Odoo, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions including bill entry, payment processing, invoicing, and collections.
Oversee general ledger and journal entries in Odoo to ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting principles.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports generated from Odoo and QuickBooks to provide clear insights to management.
Maintain and update the chart of accounts to reflect the companys financial structure accurately.
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data, create pivot tables, develop formulas, and perform data cleansing activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Identify areas for process improvements and recommend enhancements to streamline accounting operations using QuickBooks and Odoo functionalities.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and adhere to ethical accounting practices.
