Purchase Supervisor

Kaydee is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchase Supervisor to oversee purchasing operations and ensure the timely procurement of quality materials. This role requires a professional with strong skills in purchase order management, inventory control, negotiation, and vendor management. The Purchase Supervisor will lead a team of six purchasing staff members, coordinating their activities to meet the companys procurement goals efficiently. A strategic approach to sourcing, spend analysis, and procurement strategy is essential to optimize costs and improve supply chain effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience and a good understanding of working with general order suppliers and traders. This position demands close collaboration with sales staff to align purchasing decisions with business needs and market demands. The supervisor will also manage order delivery processes, handle rejection issues when quality standards are not met, and ensure pricing verifications are accurate to protect the companys financial interests. Proficiency in ERP systems is required to maintain seamless purchase and inventory record-keeping. Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of six purchase staff, distributing job responsibilities to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.

Handle order delivery management, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely shipments.
Address and resolve rejection handling issues related to quality or specification discrepancies in purchased goods.
Utilize ERP systems to track purchase orders, inventory levels, vendor performance, and other procurement metrics.
Collaborate with general order suppliers and traders, leveraging their knowledge and networks to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Monitor procurement processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Continuously evaluate market trends and supplier markets to source materials strategically and maintain competitive pricing.
