As a Senior Web Developer you will have an amazing opportunity to shape the way we develop our marketing presence, including KeepTruckin’s official website, marketing campaign landing pages, marketing emails and Ads. We are looking for collaborative individuals with a strong web development background.
As an essential part of the business, you’d oversee the activities of junior web developers. You’d be in close collaboration with various internal stakeholders. You’d be responsible for implementing the user interface and engineer the experience of the site/software being put out by the business.
In this role, you’d be expected to constantly evaluate emerging technologies and avail strategic, innovative, and cost-effective solutions that increase the efficiency, reliability, and integration of Keeptruckin’s sites.
Responsibilities:
- Technical guidance to junior developers
- Conduct code reviews
- Take ownership of and lead small to mid sized projects
- Responsive, standards-compliant HTML and CSS3 front-end development
- SEO implementation
- Develop new Wordpress plugins and install, test and debug existing plugins
- Technical documentation
- Project effort estimation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on front-end/web development experience
- Expert HTML & CSS skills with full understanding of web standards and responsive design techniques
- Wordpress plugin and block development experience
- Some experience with PHP
- Familiarity with Sass/LESS
- Understanding of jQuery and JavaScript libraries in general
- Experience with React.js is a big plus
- Ability to estimate time and level of effort for front-end development tasks
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately
- Experience with version control (BitBucket, Git etc.)
Bonus Points:
- Experience working with SEO and marketing tools. E.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Optimizely, Pardot.
- Know-how of CI/CD
- Running A/B Tests
